Garden Plants :Planting for Nature

Many of the plants you select have an impact on our environment.  Some plants have become invasive taking over our native plant populations.  Choosing plants that are native to New England or North America will help support our local wildlife and may be better adapted to our climate.  There are also plants that are more attractive to our pollinators and bird populations with heavy nectar and berry production, or may provide a foliage food source for wildlife.  Here are some tips to help replace popular invasive plants and/or help you build a wildlife garden!
